HMG CSR Report: 2026 Spring Charity Expedition to Lai Chau | HMG Pop Up Paper

Advancing Social Responsibility: Targeted Relief and Ecological Partnership in Huổi Luông, Lai Châu (Spring 2026)

Executive Summary At HMG Pop Up Paper, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is central to our operational ethos. We believe that sustainable business practices must include active community engagement. Therefore, in early 2026, HMG executed a dual-impact initiative in Huổi Luông, Lai Chau Province. This mission combined immediate humanitarian aid with long-term ecological sustainability. The following report outlines our support for 58 minority households and our strategic partnership with the Thanh Âm Xanh project.

Strategic Objectives: Addressing Regional Disparities

The Northwest region of Vietnam faces unique economic challenges. Specifically, the border communities in Lai Chau lack consistent access to resources. Consequently, HMG identified this region as a priority for our 2026 Spring Charity outreach.

Our primary objective was twofold. First, we aimed to provide immediate material relief during the Lunar New Year. Second, we sought to invest in long-term environmental solutions.

Operational Execution: Direct Support for 58 Families

HMG focused our efforts on the minority community in Huổi Luông. We identified 58 specific households facing significant hardship.

1. Material Support and Education Access

We mobilized resources to provide direct assistance. Our team distributed gifts and essential food staples to these 58 families. Furthermore, we recognized the importance of education. Therefore, we donated school accessories to local children. Thus, we ensured that the community could celebrate a warm and dignified 2026 Lunar New Year.

Strategic Partnership: The “Thanh Âm Xanh” Initiative

Beyond immediate relief, HMG is committed to sustainable development. We proudly engaged with the Thanh Âm Xanh (Green Sound) project. This ambitious initiative aims to plant one million bamboo trees along the borders of Vietnam.

1. Environmental and Security Impact

This partnership serves a critical purpose. The bamboo belt acts as a “sustainable green fence.” It naturally demarcates and protects our national borders. Simultaneously, it benefits the environment by preventing soil erosion and increasing green cover.

2. Sustainable Livelihoods

Moreover, this project directly benefits the local people. The bamboo forest provides a renewable source of food (bamboo shoots) for the border communities. Consequently, it creates a long-term economic asset for the residents of Huổi Luông.

Conclusion: A Holistic Approach to CSR

The 2026 Lai Chau expedition was a resounding success. We effectively combined charity with sustainability. We supported 58 families today. Simultaneously, we planted seeds for a greener, more secure tomorrow through Thanh Âm Xanh.

HMG remains committed to this holistic approach. We ensure that our growth always contributes to the prosperity of the Vietnamese nation.
